Evenley Parish Council has received a letter from Quatro on behalf of Acorn Bioenergy and you may have received a leaflet announcing that Acorn is reapplying for planning permission to build an anaerobic digester at the same location just off Barley Mow roundabout here in Evenley.

A team of councillors met with Acorn’s representatives at the beginning of September to find out more and passed on information at a public meeting on 11th September at the Learning Loft, Barnowl Farmshop.

17.09.24 Following the public meeting and last night’s parish council meeting it has been suggested we respond as following:

What are your initial thoughts on our changed proposals?

We do not want this development. It was refused previously for good reason and the key points for that refusal remain.

Do you believe that the changes made to the lans will reduce the visual impact of the development?

No.

Which of the following elements of the plan are the most important to you?

(Do not tick any of the boxes).

Do you have any other comments about the plans?

We don’t want it.  It is not green at all.

You can respond to their plans at: Feedback — Astwick Green Energy – Acorn Bioenergy Ltd.
